List of Participants UEFA Champions League 2011-2012

A total of 76 clubs will participate in the UEFA Champions League 2011-2012, from 52 UEFA Associations, (Liechtenstein organizes no Domestic League Competition).

Associations are allocated places according to their UEFA League Coefficient Ranking 2009-2010, which takes into account their performance in European Competitions from 2005-2006 to 2009-2010.

22 clubs automatically enter the UEFA Champions League 2011-2012 in the Group Stage, with a further 54 clubs taking part in the Qualifying Competition.

UEFA Champions League 2011-2012 First Qualifying Round (Champions Route), will be followed by 4 clubs, and 2 winners advanced to the Second Qualifying Round (Champions Route).

The 2 clubs with the best coefficients will be seeded and drawn against the other 2 clubs.
